Desperate to undo the damage, scarring and lessen the discomfort caused by my lifelong psoriasis, I decided I would start creating my own skin care products. For so many years, I'd tried over the counter and prescription remedies, both of which proved to be temporary fixes, not to mention the money that was wasted.

I thought that maybe If i found a dermatologist that was as interested in my healing as I was, I'd be good to go and could stop the wild goose chase for a remedy. But it wasn't happening, and I was tired of waiting. I began to research natural solutions to aide in healing my troubled, sensitive skin.

I took time to learn about essential and natural oils, herbs, pure butters and so much more that nature has to offer, as well as the root of my problem and how I could address each discomfort that came with it . From the inflammation and burn to the itching and chafing that came with my psoriasis flare ups, I learned there was indeed a solution.

Somewhere along the way, I realized that with skin being the largest organ, ALL of it is important, even if not affected by psoriasis. Many products on the market contain harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances and damaging toxins. The skin can absorb these chemicals and cause the immune system to work harder in order to detoxify them. These chemicals can also cause skin irritations, premature aging and much more. I wanted to keep my skin radiant, soft and smooth, while reducing and slowing the signs of aging, and though my melanin is a natural shield, It can't do everything alone!
